ROOF CARRIER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FRONT ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH

   

   
   

   1. Detach the 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the cover.

2. REMOVE FRONT ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE CENTER ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH

   

   
   

   1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

4. REMOVE CENTER ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH

   Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

5. REMOVE REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH

   

   
   

   1. Detach the 2 clips and 2 guides, and remove the cover.

6. REMOVE REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH

   Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

7. REMOVE ROOF CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. Remove the 5 bolts and roof carrier.

      

      Note

      
      

      • 

        *1	5 to 7 mm (0.197 to 0.276 in.)

        Loosen bolt A so that it protrudes a distance of 5 to 7 mm (0.197 to 0.276 in.) as shown in the illustration.

      • 

        Remove bolt B.

      • 

        Remove bolt A.

8. REMOVE ROOF CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
