REAR BUMPER(w/ Pintle Hook) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE

   
   

   1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light:

      
      

      1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      2. 

         Detach the 12 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

   2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light:

      
      

      1. Disconnect the 6 connectors.

      2. 

         Detach the 14 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

   3. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light:

      
      

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. 

         Detach the 13 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

2. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

3. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

5. Click here

   REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

   
   
   1. 

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

6. Click here

   REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 2 nuts.

   2. Detach the claw and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

7. Click here

   REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

8. Click here

   REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

   Click here

9. Click here

   REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

10. Click here

    REMOVE REAR NO. 2 STEP COVER

    
    
    1. 

       Detach the 10 claws and remove the rear No. 2 step cover.

11. Click here

    REMOVE REAR NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE BRACKET (w/ Tire Carrier)

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear No. 2 bumper side bracket and rear No. 3 bumper side bracket.
