REAR BUMPER(for Standard) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE


    1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 6 connectors.

      2. Detach the 14 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

    2. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light:


      1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

      2. Detach the 12 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

    3. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light:

      Remove the No. 2 frame wire.


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Detach the 13 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01X5SE

      Detach the 8 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  4. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)


    1. A01X7P7

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  5. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

  7. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

  8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER STEP CUSHION

      Remove the rear bumper step cushion.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for all rear bumper step cushions.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE BRACKET (w/ Tire Carrier)

      *1 Rear Bumper No. 2 Side Bracket
      *2 Rear Bumper No. 3 Side Bracket

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 7 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear bumper No. 2 side bracket and rear bumper No. 3 side bracket.
