REAR BUMPER(for Double Swing Out Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME WIRE


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Detach the 13 clamps and remove the No. 2 frame wire.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. Detach the 8 claws and remove the rear bumper energy absorber.

  3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER LH

      Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper upper cover.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 3 SIDE BRACKET (w/ Tire Carrier)

      Remove the 2 screws and rear bumper No. 3 side bracket.

  6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER NO. 2 SIDE BRACKET (w/ Tire Carrier)

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear bumper No. 2 side bracket.

  7. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

  8. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

  9. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

  12. REMOVE REAR LOWER BUMPER COVER (w/ Towing Hitch)


    1. Remove the clip and rear lower bumper cover.

  13. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 STEP COVER (w/ Towing Hitch)

    1. Remove the 2 screws and 2 clips.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear No. 2 step cover.

  14. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 STEP COVER (w/ Pintle Hook)

    1. Detach the 10 claws and remove the rear No. 2 step cover.
