PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER CENTER RETAINER


    1. Attach the guide to install the front bumper upper center retainer.

    2. Install the 3 bolts.

  2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. for Halogen Headlight:

      Click here

    2. for LED Headlight:

      Click here

    3. for Halogen Headlight and LED Headlight:

      Click here

  3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the front bumper side support LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the front bumper No. 2 extension sub-assembly LH with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      67 N*m  { 683 kgf*cm, 49 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 nuts.

      Torque:
      71 N*m  { 724 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

  9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. Install the front bumper energy absorber.

  10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Tech Tips

    For the front bumper cover with garnish, use the procedure described below.


    1. w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:

      Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Multi-terrain Monitor:

      Connect the connector.

    3. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

    4. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System or w/ Fog Light:

      Connect the No. 4 engine room wire connector.

    5. Attach the 6 claws to install the front bumper cover.

    6. Install the 3 clips, 5 screws and 4 bolts.

    7. Using a T30 "TORX" socket, install the 6 screws.

  11. INSTALL HEADLIGHT COVER LH (w/ Headlight Cover)


    1. Attach the 5 claws and headlight cover LH.

  12. INSTALL HEADLIGHT COVER RH (w/ Headlight Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


    1. Install the upper radiator support seal with the 7 clips.

  14. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Push in the clip to install the front fender splash shield sub-assembly LH.

    2. Install the 3 bolts and screw.

  15. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Push in the clip to install the front fender splash shield sub-assembly RH.

    2. Install the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

  16. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING


    1. for Halogen Headlight:

      Click here

    2. for LED Headlight:

      Click here

    3. for Halogen Headlight and LED Headlight:

      Click here

  17. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING (w/ Fog Light)

    Click here

  18. ADD WASHER FLUID (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Add washer fluid to the washer jar.

  19. INSPECT TOYOTA PARKING ASSIST-SENSOR SYSTEM (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  20. ADJUST FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-terrain Monitor)
