AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM MAIN SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH


    1. except China:

      Inspect the auto high beam switch.

        (Auto High Beam Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        G22-4 (+B) - G22-1 (E) Auto high beam switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Auto high beam switch on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the auto high beam switch.

    2. for China:

      Inspect the auto high beam switch.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        G25-4 (+B) - G25-1 (E) Auto high beam switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Auto high beam switch on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the auto high beam switch.

    3. except China:

      Check the illumination.

        Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination conditions.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → G22-3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → G22-2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the auto high beam switch.

    4. for China:

      Check the illumination.

        Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination conditions.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → G25-3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → G25-2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the auto high beam switch.
