HEADLIGHT LEVELING SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT LEVELING SWITCH


    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.

    2. Turn the headlight dimmer switch head.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      G17-2 (T) - G17-5 (E) 0 10.44 to 11.16 V
      (0.5) 9.48 to 10.2 V
      1 8.52 to 9.24 V
      (1.5) 7.56 to 8.28 V
      2 6.6 to 7.32 V
      (2.5) 5.64 to 6.36 V
      3 4.68 to 5.4 V
      (3.5) 3.72 to 4.44 V
      4 2.76 to 3.48 V
      (4.5) 1.8 to 2.52 V
      5 0.84 to 1.56 V

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight leveling switch.

    4. Check the illumination.


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      2. A01X0DWE01

        Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination conditions.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → G17-3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → G17-4 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight leveling switch.
