Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET LH


    1. A01X3N8

      Remove the rear light gasket LH.

      Note

      The gasket must not be reused.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING


    1. A01X727

      Remove the 3 rear light packings.

      Note

      The packing must not be reused.

  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT PACKING LH


    1. A01X559

      Remove the rear light packing LH.

      Note

      The packing must not be reused.

  4. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION BACK COVER LH

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the rear combination back cover LH.

  5. REMOVE BACK UP LIGHT BULB


    1. A01XBLV

      Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise until the bulb socket stops.

    2. A01WZD8

      Remove the back up light bulb from the bulb socket.

  6. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE LH


    1. A01X5LA

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 3 wire harness clamps and remove the rear light socket and wire LH.
