DESCRIPTION

The DTC is stored when the headlight swivel ECU*1 or headlight leveling ECU*2 detects malfunctions in the rear height control sensor LH power source.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      DTC B2416 or B241A output does not occur.

  2. CHECK VEHICLE TYPE


    1. Check the vehicle type.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH)


    1. Disconnect the E109 headlight leveling ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the N7 rear height control sensor LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      E109-12 (SBR) - N7-1 (SHB) Always Below 1 Ω
      E109-19 (SHRL) - N7-2 (SHRL) Always Below 1 Ω
      E109-21 (SGR) - N7-3 (SHG) Always Below 1 Ω
      E109-12 (SBR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E109-19 (SHRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      E109-21 (SGR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the E101 headlight swivel ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the N7 rear height control sensor LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
