PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR MAIN SWITCH

    (Power Back Door Main Switch)
    *b Not pushed (on)
    *c Pushed (off)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      6(MSE) - 9(MSW) Not pushed (on) Below 1 Ω
      6(MSE) - 9(MSW) Pushed (off) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the power back door main switch.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the LED illumination.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → terminal 8(ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → terminal 7(ILL-)
