  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY - POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY [POWER BACK DOOR ECU] AND BODY GROUND)

    1. for LH:

      1. Disconnect the S24 power back door sensor assembly LH connector.

      2. Disconnect the L52 power back door unit assembly connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        S24-1 (OSL) - L52-15 (OSL) Always Below 1 Ω
        S24-2 (OSLE) - L52-14 (OSE) Always Below 1 Ω
S24-1 (OSL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
S24-2 (OSLE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    2. for RH:

      1. Disconnect the S23 power back door sensor assembly RH connector.

      2. Disconnect the L52 power back door unit assembly connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
