HEATED WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER SYSTEM SYSTEM DESCRIPTION


  1. GENERAL

    The heated windshield defroster system's thin heater wires are attached to the windshield glass and defrost the windshield glass surface quickly.

  2. FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENT

    Component Outline
    Deicer switch

    Located on the air conditioning control assembly*1 or multi-display assembly*2, it detects deicer switch operation and transmits signals to the air conditioning amplifier assembly through the LIN communication line*1 or CAN communication line and UART communication line*2

    The heated windshield defroster system operates together with the deicer switch
    HWD relays Receives operation signals from the DEICER relay and supplies electricity to the thin heater wires
    Windshield glass (heated windshield defroster) Receives power from HWD relays and heats thin heater wires
