PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE CENTER HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

    1. Remove the 3 screws <C> and center heater to register duct.

  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Air Duct)

    1. Remove the 2 screws and rear No. 1 air duct.

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 11 claws and remove the defroster nozzle assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle.

  7. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

  8. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE


    1. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

  10. REMOVE GLOVE BOX LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  11. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. tach the 2 claws and remove the glove compartment door sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT PLATE

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the glove compartment plate.

  13. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT COVER LH

    1. Detach the 2 claws and 3 guides and remove the lower instrument cover LH.

  14. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for both console compartment door cushions.

      Remove the console compartment door cushion.

  15. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 2 screws and glove compartment door lock assembly.

  16. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK COVER

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the glove compartment door lock cover.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  17. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK PIN

    1. Remove the glove compartment door lock pin.

  18. REMOVE METER HOOD SPACER

    1. Detach the 8 claws and remove the meter hood spacer.

  19. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER

    1. Remove the 2 screws and instrument panel hole cover.
