  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  • A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 2 claws.

    2. Install the rear console box sub-assembly with the 2 screws and 4 bolts.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET (w/ Telematics Transceiver)

  3. INSTALL TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER (w/ Telematics Transceiver)

    Click here

  4. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Connect the connectors and clamps.

    2. Attach the 7 claws to install the rear console end panel sub-assembly.

  5. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for Type A:

        Attach the 8 claws and 4 clips to install the upper console panel sub-assembly.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01XAGK

        Connect the connectors.

      2. Attach the 14 claws to install the console panel.

  6. INSTALL REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 4 claws, clip and 3 guides to install the rear upper console panel sub-assembly.

  7. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL (for Type A)


    1. for Automatic Transmission:


      1. A01X85Z

        Connect the connectors.

      2. Attach the 8 claws and 5 clips to install the upper console panel.

    2. for Manual Transmission:


      1. A01X4L6

        Connect the connectors.

      2. Attach the 8 claws and 5 clips to install the upper console panel.

  8. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the console cup holder box sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for Type A:


      1. A01X8XJ

        Attach the 6 claws to install the lower center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01XBUZ

        Connect the connectors.

      2. Attach the 7 claws to install the lower center instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for Type A, Automatic Transmission:


      1. A01X83Q

        Install the shift lever knob sub-assembly and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    2. for Type A, Manual Transmission:


      1. A01X0I8

        Install the shift lever knob sub-assembly and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

    3. for Type B:


      1. Install the shift lever knob sub-assembly and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

  11. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. for Type A:

        Attach the 11 claws and guide to install the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly RH.

      2. A01XA85

        Install the screw and clip.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01X455

        Attach the 7 claws to install the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly RH.

      2. A01X72H

        Install the screw and clip.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH CUSHION


    1. for Type A:


      1. A01XBEQ

        Attach the 4 claws and 3 clips to install the No. 1 instrument panel finish cushion.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01X17Q

        Attach the 7 claws to install the panel No. 1 instrument panel finish cushion.

  13. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. for Type A:

        Connect the connectors and clamps.

      2. Attach the 11 claws and guide to install the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH.

      3. A01X5OL

        Install the screw and clip.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01XAQ1

        Connect the connectors and clamps.

      2. Attach the 8 claws and 2 guides to install the lower instrument panel pad sub-assembly LH.

      3. A01X4RM

        Install the screw and clip.

  14. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION


    1. for Type A:

        Attach the 4 claws and 3 clips to install the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01XAVQ

        Attach the 7 claws to install the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.
