AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM(for Automatic Air Conditioning System) CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS


  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH GTS (REFERENCE)

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting.

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Air Conditioner
      Display Default Contents Setting Relevant ECU
      Set Temperature Shift Normal Function to set the temperature shift. +2 C/+1 C/Normal/-1 C/-2 C Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Compressor Mode Automatic Function to turn the A/C on automatically by pressing the AUTO button when the blower is on and the A/C is off. Manual/Automatic Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Air Inlet Mode Automatic Function to automatically change to recirculation mode when the A/C is turned on. Manual/Automatic Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Foot/DEF Auto Mode ON Function to turn the airflow from FOOT/DEF on automatically when auto mode is on. ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Foot/DEF Automatic Blow Up Function ON Function to change the blower level automatically when the defroster is on. ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Ambient Temperature Shift Normal Function to control the shifted ambient temperature in relation to the displayed ambient temperature. +3 C/+2 C/+1 C/Normal/-1 C/-2 C/-3 C Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Emission Gas Sensor Shift Normal Function to change the sensitivity of the exhaust gas sensor. Much Less/Less/Little Less/normal/Little More/More/Much More Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Add Foot Air in FACE Mode ON When the FACE mode is selected, an additional amount of air blow to the foot area. Selecting OFF will cancel this additional air flow. ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      ECO MODE Cancel OFF Function to cancel the ECO mode drive when item is on ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Refrigerant Shortage Check ON Function to cancel the refrigerant gas volume check (check performed during normal operation) when item is set to OFF ON/OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Fan speed increment control Normal Function to define how fast the air conditioning blower goes to target speed when first activating the air conditioning Slow/Normal/Fast Air conditioning amplifier assembly

  2. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

    Tech Tips

    The following items can be customized.


    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    2. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle Settings / Vehicle Customization / Climate settings.

      Auto A/C Mode On Enables or disables the function which automatically turns the air conditioning on according to the state of the AUTO switch. On or Off Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Efficient Ventilation Mode On Enables or disables the function which automatically switches between recirculation and fresh air modes when the AUTO switch is on. On or Off Air conditioning amplifier assembly
      Smog Sensor Sensitivity 0 Changes the sensitivity of the exhaust gas sensor. -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 Air conditioning amplifier assembly
