  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Climate Control Seat System)

    (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly LH)


    1. Check the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly LH
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

        A1 - A4

        A1 - B1

        A4 - B2

        B1 - B2

        Seat cushion heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 2.5 to 3.0 Ω
        A2 - A3 8 to 12 kΩ
      2. Heat the thermostat with a light.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Thermostat
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

        A1 - A4

        A1 - B1

        A1 - B2

        46 to 54°C or more 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        B1 - B2

        Seat cushion heater temperature 25°C (77°F) 2.5 to 3.0 Ω
        A2 - A3 8 to 12 kΩ
      2. Heat the thermostat with a light.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition

        A1 - A3

        A1 - B1

        A1 - B2

        46 to 54°C or more 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

  3. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Climate Control Seat System)
