LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)

   

   *1	Hold
   *2	Release
   *3	Component without harness connected: (Lumbar Support Adjuster)

   
   

   1. Check the operation of the lumbar support adjuster.

      
      

      1. Check if the lumbar support adjuster moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 1 Battery negative (-) → 2 Hold Battery positive (+) → 2 Battery negative (-) → 1 Release

         If the result is not as specified, replace the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

2. INSPECT LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

   

   *1	Release
   *2	Hold
   *3	Component without harness connected: (Lumbar Support Adjuster)

   
   

   1. Check the operation of the lumbar support adjuster.

      
      

      1. Check if the lumbar support adjuster moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the lumbar support adjuster motor connector terminals.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 2 Battery negative (-) → 1 Hold Battery positive (+) → 1 Battery negative (-) → 2 Release

         If the result is not as specified, replace the lumbar support adjuster assembly.
