PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (w/ Rear Entertainment System)

      Attach the claw and install the connector holder.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH


    1. Attach the claw to install the front seat wire LH.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamps and connect the connectors.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

  4. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  5. INSTALL SEAT FRAME SET BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Attach the 4 hooks to install the seat frame set bracket sub-assembly.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR FILTER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Rotate the No. 1 air filter clockwise to attach the claws and install it.

  7. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Install the seat climate control blower LH with the nut.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

      Install the 2 bolts and connect the connector.

  8. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seat Cushion)

    1. Install the seat climate control controller LH with the 2 screws.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

      Attach the 4 claws to connect the seat climate control blower LH.

  9. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Attach the claw to install the seat climate control ECU.

    2. Connect the connector.

  10. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    1. Attach the claw to install the seat heater control sub-assembly.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the connector.

  11. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Attach the hook to install the front lower seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  12. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. Attach the hook to install the front lower seat cushion shield RH.

    2. Install the screw.

  13. INSTALL UPPER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT

    1. Install the upper active headrest unit with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL LOWER ACTIVE HEADREST UNIT

    1. Install the lower active headrest unit with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Attach the clamp.

    3. Connect the active headrest cable to the upper active headrest unit with the nut.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  15. INSTALL BUSH (for Driver Side)

      Attach the 3 claws to install the bush.

  16. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

      Install the lumbar support adjuster LH with the 2 screws.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Attach the 4 hooks to install the seatback spring.

    4. Install the 4 springs.

    5. Connect the active headrest cable to the seatback spring with the cable clamp.

  17. INSTALL OUTSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH

    1. Attach the claw to install the outside reclining adjuster cover LH.

    2. Install the screw.

    1. Attach the claw to install the outside reclining adjuster cover RH.

    2. Install the screw.

  19. INSTALL INSIDE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH

    2. Install the 2 screws.

    3. Attach the wire harness clamp.

    1. Attach the claw to install the inside reclining adjuster cover RH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

    3. Attach the wire harness clamp.

  21. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEVISION BASE (w/ Rear Entertainment System)

      Attach the 2 guides and install the No. 2 television base.

    2. Install the 4 screws.

      Attach the 9 clips.

  22. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK PROTECTOR

    1. Apply double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the front seatback protector.

  23. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. Set the front seatback heater assembly LH onto the front separate type seatback cover so that the name stamp is facing the front separate type seatback pad.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

      Install the front seatback heater assembly LH to the front separate type seatback cover with new tack pins.

  24. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER

      Attach the fastening tape to install the front separate type seatback cover.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the front separate type seatback cover to the front separate type seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  26. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      CAUTION:

      After the seatback cover with pad is installed, make sure the seatback cover bracket is not twisted.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install new hog rings.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the cover.

  27. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  28. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seatback)

    1. Attach the 4 hooks to install the seat climate control controller LH.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to connect the seat climate control blower LH.

  29. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION BRACKET (w/ Illumination)

      Attach the 2 claws and install the No. 1 seat cushion bracket.

  30. INSTALL NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Illumination)

      Attach the 2 claws and install the No. 1 interior illumination lamp assembly RH.

  31. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Move the front seatback board sub-assembly in the direction of the arrow to attach the 2 hooks and install it.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

    1. Set the front seat cushion heater assembly LH onto the front separate type seat cushion cover so that the name stamp is facing the front separate type seat cushion pad.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

      Install the front seat cushion heater assembly LH to the front separate type seat cushion cover with new tack pins.

    1. Set the seat cushion cover with pad in place.

        Attach the 2 clamps to connect the connector holder.

      2. Connect the connector.

        Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp.

        Connect the connector and attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    6. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Attach the wire harness clamp.

  37. INSTALL FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

    1. Install the front power seat switch LH with the 3 screws.

    2. w/ Seat Position Memory System:

      Connect the 2 connectors.

    3. w/o Seat Position Memory System:

      Connect the connector.

  38. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Attach the 2 claws and clip to install the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Install the screw.

    2. Install the screw.

    1. for Driver Side:

      Connect the connector.

      Attach the 2 claws to install the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 cushion shield LH.

    3. Install the 3 screws.

      Connect the 2 rubber bands.

    5. Install the 2 screws.

  43. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the reclining power seat switch knob.

  44. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
