PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

    1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disconnect the 2 rubber bands.

      Remove the 3 screws.

    4. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH.

    5. for Driver Side:

      Disconnect the connector.

  4. REMOVE FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the front inner No. 1 seat cushion shield LH from the front seat cushion shield LH.

  5. REMOVE LUMBAR SWITCH (for Driver Side)

    1. Remove the 2 screws and lumbar switch from the front seat cushion shield LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  7. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and clip, and then remove the front inner seat cushion shield LH.

  8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH


    1. w/ Seat Position Memory System:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. w/o Seat Position Memory System:

      Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 3 screws and front power seat switch LH.

  9. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    2. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01WZPK

        Disconnect the connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.

      2. A01X630

        Disconnect the connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A01X842

        Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 4 wire harness clamps.

      2. A01XB5X

        Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. for Front Passenger Side:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the connector holder.

      Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.

    6. Detach the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the hog rings and front separate type seat cushion cover from the front separate type seat cushion pad.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

      w/o Climate Control Seat System:

      Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the front separate type seat cushion cover.

      w/ Climate Control Seat System:

      Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH from the front separate type seat cushion cover.

  12. REMOVE TELEVISION BASE (w/ Rear Entertainment System)

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Move the front seatback board sub-assembly LH in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 hooks and remove it.

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LAMP ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Illumination)

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 interior illumination lamp assembly RH.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION BRACKET (w/ Illumination)

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 seat cushion bracket.

  17. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seatback)

    1. Detach the 2 claws and disconnect the seat climate control blower LH.

    2. Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seat climate control controller LH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  19. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

    2. Remove the 2 screws.

      Remove the cable clamp and disconnect the active headrest cable from the seatback spring.

    2. Remove the 4 springs.

    3. Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seatback spring.

  31. REMOVE BUSH (for Driver Side)

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the bush.

    1. Remove the nut and detach clamp, and then disconnect the active headrest cable from the upper active headrest unit.

      Remove the 2 nuts and lower active headrest unit.

    1. Remove the 4 nuts and upper active headrest unit.

    2. Detach the hook and remove the lower seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Detach the hook and remove the lower seat cushion shield RH.

  36. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    2. Detach the claw and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

  37. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    2. Detach the claw and remove the seat climate control ECU.

  38. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System, for Seat Cushion)

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and seat climate control controller LH.

  39. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the 2 bolts.

      Detach the wire harness clamp.

    3. Remove the nut and seat climate control blower LH.

  40. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR FILTER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Rotate the No. 1 air filter counterclockwise to detach the claws and remove it.

  41. REMOVE SEAT FRAME SET BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    1. Detach the 4 hooks and remove the seat frame set bracket sub-assembly.

    1. Disconnect the connectors and detach the wire harness clamps.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the front seat wire LH.

  45. REMOVE CONNECTOR HOLDER (w/ Rear Entertainment System)

      Detach the claw and remove the connector holder.
