FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Bench Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Place the front seat assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Temporarily install the front seat assembly RH with the 4 bolts.

    3. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    5. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the foremost position.

    6. A01X4DOE01

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }
    7. A01X4WX

      Pass the front seat lap type belt assembly through the hole of the front seat cushion to the surface.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER TRACK COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 guides.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and clip to install the front seat inner track cover RH.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 guides.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and clip to install the front seat outer track cover RH.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH


    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to install the front seat inner track bracket cover RH.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the front seat outer track bracket cover RH.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front seat headrest assembly.
