DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when there is a malfunction in the front seat inner belt buckle switch circuit for the passenger side.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC B2075 is not output

    OK
    NG
  2. CHECK SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU


    1. A01X2Z1E02
      *1 Component with harness connected: (Seat Belt Control ECU)
      *2 Seat belt is fastened (Buckle switch is on)

      Reconnect the E41 seat belt control ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the c30*1 or c24*2 front seat inner belt connector.

      Tech Tips


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Use an oscilloscope to check the waveform of the seat belt control ECU between the connector terminals.

      Measurement Condition
      Tester Connection E41-5 (PBK+) - E41-6 (PBK-)
      Tool Setting 5 V/DIV., 20 ms./DIV.
      Switch Condition

      Ignition switch ON

      Front passenger side seat belt unfastened (Buckle switch off)

      Ignition switch ON

      Front passenger side seat belt fastened (Buckle switch on)

      OK
      4.5 to 5.5 V

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)


    1. Disconnect the c30*1 or c24*2 front seat inner belt connector.

      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the E41 seat belt control ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for LHD

      c30-2 (+) - E41-5 (PBK+) Always Below 1 Ω
      c30-1 (E) - E41-6 (PBK-)
      c30-2 (+) or E41-5 (PBK+) - Body ground 1 MΩ higher

      for RHD

      c24-2 (+) - E41-5 (PBK+) Always Below 1 Ω
