DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU assembly receives accelerator pedal position sensor signals from the ECM to determine if the accelerator pedal is being depressed. If the ECM detects a malfunction in the accelerator pedal position sensor or SFI system or ECD system, the driving support ECU assembly is notified via CAN communication and stores DTC C1A63.

  1. GO TO SFI SYSTEM OR ECD SYSTEM

    Tech Tips

    If DTC C1A63 is output by the pre-crash safety system, perform troubleshooting for the SFI system or ECD system.
