DESCRIPTION
When a new driving support ECU assembly is installed, it receives vehicle specification information (destination, steering wheel position, etc.) from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and memorizes the information.
DTC C1A02 is stored when the driving support ECU assembly receives the vehicle specification information from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) but cannot record it.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
Note
When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in it will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.

PROCEDURE
CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph) or more.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
