PROCEDURE
INSTALL REAR FLOOR AIRBAG SENSOR
Check that the ignition switch is off.
Check that the cable is disconnected from the battery negative (-) terminal.
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
Install the rear floor airbag sensor with the bolt.
Note
If the rear floor airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace it with a new one.
When installing the rear floor airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
Check that there is no looseness in the installation parts of the rear floor airbag sensor.
Connect the connector.
Attach the clip, claw and cover.
Return the floor carpet to its original position.

CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here
