CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG CUTOFF SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   CAUTION:

   Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Click here.

   Note

   After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (- ) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH

   Click here

7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

9. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

   Click here

10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

11. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

12. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

13. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG CUTOFF SWITCH

    
    

    1. 

       Detach the 2 claws and remove the curtain shield airbag cutoff switch.
