BACK DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION

Note


  • When installing a new back door lock assembly, if there is any tape stuck to it, remove the tape.

  • When installing a new back door lock assembly, if there are any strings attached to it, cut the strings off.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Power Back Door:


      1. Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connector.

    2. w/ Power Back Door:


      1. Install the back door lock assembly with the 4 bolts.

        Torque:
        13 N*m  { 133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the back door lock cover.

  3. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP REINFORCEMENT (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  5. INSTALL DOOR OPENING SWITCH SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (for Face to Face Seat Type)

  9. INSTALL BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH

  10. INSTALL CENTER BACK DOOR GARNISH
