DESCRIPTION

The parking assist ECU and multi-media module receiver assembly are connected by an AVC-LAN communication line. When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the multi-media module receiver assembly and parking assist ECU, these DTCs will be stored.

Tip:
  • *: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the battery condition or engine start voltage.

  • The multi-media module receiver assembly is the master unit.

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).


  2. Click here

    CHECK DTC


    1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again (Click here).

      OK
      No DTCs are output

  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the parking assist ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F75-4 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F75-1 (+B) - F75-4 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V
      F75-8 (IG) - F75-4 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F75-9 (ACC) - F75-4 (GND1) Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

    INSPECT MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. B001XXJE09

      Remove the multi-media module receiver assembly (Click here).

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      7 (TX1+) - 8 (TX1-) Always 60 to 80 Ω

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARKING ASSIST ECU)


    1. Disconnect the F77 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F75 parking assist ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F77-7 (TX1+) - F75-11 (TX+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F77-8 (TX1-) - F75-10 (TX-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F77-7 (TX1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F77-8 (TX1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    • OKClick here
    • NG

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  6. Click here

    REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU


    1. Replace the parking assist ECU with a new or normally functioning one (Click here).


  7. Click here

    CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).


  8. Click here

    CHECK DTC


    1. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again (Click here).
