RADIO ANTENNA CORD INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach each clamp to install the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Install the 2 brackets with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect each connector.

  2. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the front floor carpet assembly Click here.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Sliding Roof:


      1. Apply new double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Attach double-sided tape to the hatched areas shown in the illustration below.

        *4 Red Tape

      2. Align the red tape wound around the antenna cord with the V markings on the roof headlining and the notch at the rear of the headlining, and attach the antenna cord to the double-sided tape.

      3. Attach the 2 clamps and fit the antenna into the notch.

    2. w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. Apply new double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Attach double-sided tape to the hatched areas shown in the illustration below.

      2. Align the red tape wound around the antenna cord with the V markings on the roof headlining and the notch at the rear of the headlining, and attach the antenna cord to the double-sided tape.

      3. Attach the 4 clamps and fit the antenna into the notch.

  4. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Sliding Roof:

      Install the roof headlining Click here.

    2. w/ Sliding Roof:

      Install the roof headlining Click here.

  5. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Multi-display)


    1. for LHD:

      Attach the 7 clamps to install the antenna cord.

    2. for RHD:

      Attach the 5 clamps to install the antenna cord.

  6. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Multi-display)


    1. for LHD:

      Attach the 8 clamps to install the antenna cord.

    2. for RHD:

      Attach the 6 clamps to install the antenna cord.

  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the instrument panel safety pad Click here.

  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT


    1. Check the SRS warning light Click here.
