PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - VIDEO TERMINAL)


    1. Disconnect the F78 multi-media module receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the P1 headphone terminal (video terminal) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F78-7 (VAR+) - P1-5 (VAR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F78-8 (VAL+) - P1-6 (VAL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F78-15 (VA-) - P1-7 (VA-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F78-5 (AGND) - P1-15 (SG) Always Below 1 Ω
      F78-7 (VAR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F78-8 (VAL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F78-15 (VA-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F78-5 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
