DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a device to the radio and display receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the A radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the B No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A-2 (US1-) - B-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      A-3 (US1+) - B-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      A-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      A-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
