STEERING CONTROL ECU(for LHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU

   
   

   1. Attach the 2 claws and install the steering control ECU to the junction block with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU WITH JUNCTION BLOCK

   
   

   1. Install the steering control ECU with junction block with the bolt and 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the connectors and wire harness clamp.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

   Click here

5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
