POWER STEERING ECU(w/ Variable Flow Control Solenoid Valve) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. for LHD:

      
      

      1. Attach the claw and install the power steering ECU with the bolt.

         Torque:

         8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connectors to the junction block.

      3. Install the junction block with the bolt and nut.

         Torque:

         8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

   2. for RHD:

      
      

      1. Install the bolt and power steering ECU assembly to the junction block.

         Torque:

         8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the connectors and attach the wire harness clamp to the junction block.

      3. Install the junction block with the 2 nuts and bolt.

         Torque:

         8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for LHD)

3. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE (for RHD)

   Click here

4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

6. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
