PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    INSTALL VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the vane pump with the 2 bolts.

      21 N*m 214 kgf*cm 15 ft.*lbf
  2. Click here

    CONNECT SUCTION HOSE (w/o Variable Flow Control Solenoid Valve)


    1. Connect the suction hose to the vane pump assembly with the clip.

  3. Click here

    CONNECT NO. 1 OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE (w/ Variable Flow Control Solenoid Valve)


    1. Coat a new O-ring with power steering fluid and install the O-ring to the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose.

    2. Install the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose with the bolt.

      12 N*m 122 kgf*cm 9 ft.*lbf
    3. Connect the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose to the oil reservoir with the clip.

  4. Click here

    CONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE (w/o Variable Flow Control Solenoid Valve)


    1. Install a new gasket to the pressure feed tube.

    2. Connect the pressure feed tube with the union bolt.

      50 N*m 510 kgf*cm 37 ft.*lbf
  5. Click here

    CONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY (w/ Variable Flow Control Solenoid Valve)


    1. Install a new gasket to the pressure feed tube assembly.

    2. Connect the pressure feed tube with the union bolt.

      50 N*m 510 kgf*cm 37 ft.*lbf
    3. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps and 2 connectors.

  6. Click here

    CONNECT POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SENSOR CONNECTOR (w/o Variable Flow Control Solenoid Valve)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

  7. Click here

    INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

    Click here

  8. Click here

    INSTALL AIR CLEANER AND HOSE

    Click here

  9. Click here

    INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. Click here

    INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON TRIM PACKING A

    INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH

    ADD POWER STEERING FLUID

  13. Click here

    BLEED POWER STEERING FLUID

    Click here

  14. Click here

    INSPECT FOR POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK

  15. Click here

    CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).
