DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) receives signals from the deceleration sensor.

The DTCs are also stored when the calibration has not been completed.

Note


  • After replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration Click here.

  • After replacing the deceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF DECELERATION SENSOR


    1. Perform zero point calibration of the deceleration sensor Click here.

  2. PERFORM TEST MODE (SIGNAL CHECK)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Perform the signal check in the Test Mode Procedure Click here.

      OK
      All test mode DTCs are cleared.

  3. CHECK DECELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Check that the deceleration sensor has been installed properly Click here.

      OK
      The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
      The sensor is not installed at an angle.

  4. READ VALUE USING GTS (DECELERATION SENSOR)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.

      Deceleration Sensor

      Deceleration sensor/ Min.: -18.525 m/s2, Max.: 18.387 m/s2

      - Changes continuously during acceleration/deceleration.
    6. Check that the deceleration sensor output value is displayed on the GTS.
