After replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform calibration Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT ABS WARNING LIGHT


    1. Disconnect the 2 skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) connectors.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Check that the ABS warning light comes on.

      OK
      ABS warning light comes on.
      Result
      Result Proceed to

      OK (for LHD) B
      OK (for RHD) C

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Select CAN Bus Check from the System Selection Menu screen and follow the prompts on the screen to inspect the CAN bus.

      OK
      CAN Bus Check indicates no malfunctions in CAN communication.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (ABS WARNING LIGHT)


    1. Turn the ignition switch off.

    2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    4. Turn the GTS on.

    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Active Test.

    6. When performing the ABS Warning Light Active Test, check ABS Warning Light in the Data List Click here.
