FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION ARM INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER ARM ASSEMBLY LH

    1. As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut.

    2. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously at a rate of 3 to 5 seconds per 1 turn and take the torque reading on the fifth turn.

      Standard turning torque
      0.98 to 4.41 N*m (1.0 to 45 kgf*cm, 9 to 39 in.*lbf)
