FRONT ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR (for Driver Side)


    1. A01X1KI

      Install the sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  2. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01X5AM

      Install the sensor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU WITH JUNCTION BLOCK (for LHD)


    1. A01X053E01
      *1 Front Side:
      *2 Rear Side:
      *3 Nut
      *4 Bolt

      Vehicle front side:


      1. Connect the 5 connectors.

    2. Vehicle rear side:


      1. Install the steering control ECU with junction block to the vehicle with the 2 bolts and nut .

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      2. Attach the 2 clamps.

      3. Connect the 7 connectors.

  4. INSTALL STEERING CONTROL ECU WITH JUNCTION BLOCK (for RHD)

      Vehicle front side:


      1. Connect the 3 connectors.

    2. Vehicle rear side:


      1. Install the steering control ECU with junction block to the vehicle with the bolt and 2 nuts.

        Torque:
        8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX DOOR KNOB

  7. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH

    Click here

  8. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL (w/o Passenger Side Knee Airbag)

    Click here

  9. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Passenger Side Knee Airbag)

  10. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

    Click here

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Floor Under Cover)

  12. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

    Click here

  13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch)

  14. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (w/o Airbag Cut Off Switch)

  15. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  16. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE

  18. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  30. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  31. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
