CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SWITCH(w/ Entry and Start System) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 5 (E) - 9 (CPU) Mode switch being pushed (Center Differential Lock Switch) Below 1 Ω Mode switch not pushed (Center Differential Lock Switch) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

2. INSPECT CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SWITCH (for Manual Transmission)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Center Differential Lock Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 (E) - 4 (CPU) Center differential lock switch being pushed Below 1 Ω Center differential lock switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the center differential lock switch.
