4WD CONTROL SWITCH(w/ Entry and Start System) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

      *a	Component without harness connected (Integration Control and Panel Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (2WD) - 7 (GND2) H4 Position 10 kΩ or higher L4 Position Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

2. INSPECT TRANSFER POSITION SWITCH (for Manual Transmission)

      *a	Component without harness connected (Transfer Position Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 3 (2WD) - 7 (GND2) H4 Position 10 kΩ or higher L4 Position Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the transfer position switch.
