  1. INSPECT BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    *1 Off
    *2 On
    *3 26.2 to 27.8 mm (1.03 to 1.09 in.)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 On (pushed) Below 1 Ω
      1 - 2 Off (released) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the back-up light switch assembly.
