CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new gasket to the master cylinder.

    2. Apply MP grease to the contact surface of the clevis and clutch pedal.

    3. A01XAID

      Connect the clutch pedal to the clevis, and then install the master cylinder with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 120 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01X5UM

      Tighten the clutch pedal support bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  2. CONNECT CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE

    1. Connect the clutch reservoir tube with a new clip.

  3. CONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE

    1. Using a union nut wrench, connect the tube.

      Torque:
      15 N*m  { 155 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf }

  4. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID

  5. BLEED CLUTCH LINE

    Click here

  6. CHECK FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR

    Click here

  7. INSPECT FOR CLUTCH FLUID LEAK

  8. INSPECT AND ADJUST CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY
