CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN CLUTCH FLUID

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Driver Side Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)

  5. DISCONNECT CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE AND CLUTCH RESERVOIR TUBE

  6. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY WITH CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH RESERVOIR HOSE

    1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip, slide the 2 clips and remove the clutch reservoir hose.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to catch the fluid.

  8. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER TO WAY TUBE

    1. Using a union nut wrench, remove the tube.

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 nuts and clutch start switch.

  10. REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01X5T8

      Remove the clip, wave washer and clevis pin.

    2. A01X2WC

      Remove the 2 bolts and clutch master cylinder.
