DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication malfunction occurs between the sensors and ECUs.

U0126 2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the Steering angle sensor and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

U0129 2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a communication error between the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) and the forward recognition camera is detected for approximately 5 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    6. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 50 seconds or more.

      2. Drive the vehicle at 1km/h (1 mph) or more for 5 second or more.
