DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates a malfunction in the ECM.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
P0575 ECM has a supervisory CPU and control ECU inside. When each input STP signal is different this DTC is output. This DTC is also output after 0.4 seconds have passed from the time a cruise cancel input signal (STP input) is input to the ECM. ECM

Tech Tips

The ECM receives signals from each sensor to control all functions of the cruise control system. When a trouble code is detected, the fail-safe function remains on until the ignition switch is turned off.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.


      1. Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.

      2. Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control main switch (ON/OFF).

      3. Push the cruise control main switch to -/SET to begin control of vehicle speed by the cruise control system.
