FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY(for Fuel Sub Tank) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type 40 Side)

  4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for 60/40 Split Seat Type 60 Side)

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY


  6. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


  7. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH


  8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT ASSEMBLY

    1. w/ Rear Air Conditioning System:

      Detach the 5 clips and fold back the rear floor mat assembly toward the front of the vehicle.

      Tech Tips

      Fold back the rear floor mat assembly so that the rear No. 7 air duct can be removed.

    2. w/o Rear Air Conditioning System:

      Detach the 5 clips and fold back the rear floor mat assembly toward the front of the vehicle.

      Tech Tips

      Fold back the floor mat so that the rear floor service hole cover can be removed.

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 7 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)

      Detach the 4 clips and remove the rear No. 7 air duct.

  10. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

  11. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the fuel sender gauge connector.

    2. B001WK8

      Remove the 5 screws and fuel sender gauge assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to bend the arm of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

    3. Remove the gasket from the fuel sender gauge assembly.
