REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL


    1. B001ZK4C02
      *1 Rear Engine Oil Seal Retainer
      *2 Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal as shown in the illustration.

      SST
      09223-56010
      Standard depth A
      1.0 to 3.0 mm (0.0393 to 0.118 in.)

      Note


      • Keep the lip free from foreign matter.

      • Do not tap on the rear crankshaft oil seal at an angle.

      • Make sure that the lip of the rear crankshaft oil seal is properly installed.

  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    1. Connect the cables to the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.
