PROCEDURE
INSTALL REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

| *2 | Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal |
Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal as shown in the illustration.

| 1.0 to 3.0 mm (0.0393 to 0.118 in.) |
Note
Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
Do not tap on the rear crankshaft oil seal at an angle.
Make sure that the lip of the rear crankshaft oil seal is properly installed.
INSTALL DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)
INSTALL FLYWHEEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
INSTALL CLUTCH DISC ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
INSTALL CLUTCH COVER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY
INSTALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION UNIT ASSEMBLY
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Connect the cables to the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.
