PROCEDURE

   INSTALL REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

      Using SST and a hammer, tap in a new oil seal as shown in the illustration.

      09223-56010

      Standard depth A
      2.7 to 3.7 mm (0.106 to 0.147 in.)

      Note:
      

      • Keep the lip free from foreign matter.

      • Do not tap on the seal at an angle.

      • Make sure that the lip of the oil seal is properly installed.

   CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

   
   

   1. Connect the cables to the negative (-) main battery and sub-battery terminals.
