INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/o Intercooler)


    1. Using a 22mm deep socket wrench, install the sensor and a new gasket.

      Torque:
      34 N*m  { 347 kgf*cm, 25 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ Intercooler)


    1. A01X1ANE02
      *1 Fulcrum length

      Using a ball joint lock nut wrench, install the sensor and a new gasket.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 300 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not use a tool such as an impact wrench or equivalent.

      Tech Tips


      • Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.8 in.). When using a torque wrench with a fulcrum length that is not 300 mm (11.8 in.), calculate the torque specification for the torque wrench and SST based on the "without SST" torque specification Click here.

      • Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.
