ACCELERATOR PEDAL ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

   3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / ETCS / Accel Sens. No. 1 Volt % and Accel Sens. No. 2 Volt %.

   5. Read the value displayed on the intelligent tester.

      Standard Value
      Tester Display Condition Specified Condition Accel Sens. No.1 Volt % Released 10 to 22% Depressed 54 to 86% Accel Sens. No.2 Volt % Released 12 to 42% Depressed 66 to 98%

      If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness or ECM.
