ENGINE OIL COOLER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

      Air

      Check the oil cooler for damage or clogging.

      If necessary, replace the oil cooler assembly.

2. INSPECT OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE

   
   

   1. 

      Coat the relief valve with engine oil.

   2. Check that the relief valve falls smoothly into the valve hole by its own weight.

      If the relief valve does not fall smoothly, replace it. If necessary, replace the oil filter bracket.
